That’s a Wrap

Well National Youth Week 2012 is done and dusted! We had a wonderful week and it was so nice to see everyone enjoying the Hub, workshops, forums and markets that made up the KickstART Youth Festival.

KickstART Youth Forums

National Youth Week is  just around the corner! The Department for Communities in collaboration with Perth Youth Advisory Council and Propel Youth Arts are putting together a series of forums discussing topics important to young people in Perth as voted by them.

The National Youth Week Forum Series is a three-part program consisting of forums related to Education, Urban Development and Mental Health. The forum series will take place on Monday 16th, Wednesday 18th and Friday 20th April at the KickstART Youth Hub, 200-206 William Street Northbridge from 6pm-8pm.

  • The Education Forum will consist of a number of panellists discussing the current make up of the education system and whether it is helping or hindering WA students.
  • The Urban Development Forum will be discussing the future of Perth in regards to the urban landscape and ways different people and organisations are working to make Perth a more vibrant and lively city.
  • The Mental Health Forum will be a showcase of the different organisations working in Perth to help young people live happy and fulfilling lives.
